iPhone 17 series took the first three spots in becoming the best-selling smartphones globally in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, according to the latest Counterpoint Research report. Leading the pack was the standard iPhone 17 model, commanding a 6 percent market share of all the handsets sold globally in the quarter. Following the standard model were the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone 17 Pro models, occupying second and third positions, respectively. Out of the top 10 best-selling smartphones globally, four handsets were from Apple.
